The Good Work
INDIVIDUALS is based on a belief that good work is formed by trying to understand both sides of the connection between the individual and the surroundings they are involved in.
Four elements make out the pillars of our core philosophy. Each element constitutes interconnected entities, and it is precisely the tight coupling between these elements that form the basis of ‘The Good Work’.
Regardless of the service we offer, this is our starting point that serves as guiding principles in everything we do.
Use the figure below to gain an understanding of the elements in our core philosophy.
Meaning
For us, meaning is when behaviour, thoughts and actions of the individual fit into the greater picture of ambitions and desires and are consistent with what you love to do and what you are good at.
It does not only apply to your career but also to what and who you want to use your time with outside your work environment.
Articulation
For most of us, our development starts with speaking-out loud, nuance and developing your system of words, making yourself capable of communicating needs and ambition to set a direction to the people around you. No one develops by themselves – relationships and people are central elements of your development.
Action
Words have greater value when they are followed by action. Action is concrete initiatives that can be taken now. In other words – without taking any action on the topics we discuss the probability to waste your own and others time increases.
Reflection
It is crucial to continue to be curious by reflecting and evaluating the experiences and learnings that have been created by “walking the talk”. The reflections are necessary to identify and adjust to new areas of development or confirm that you have set the right path.
