The Meaningful Work
Four elements make out the pillars of our core philosophy: the meaningful work. The individual elements constitute interconnected entities, and it is precisely the tight coupling between these elements that form the basis of truly meaningful work.
Regardless of the service we offer, our starting point is our core philosophy. The essential elements of the philosophy (Articulation, Action, Empowerment and Meaning) serves as the guiding principles in everything we do.
Use the figure below to gain an understanding of the elements in our core philosophy.
Meaning is when behaviour, thoughts and actions of the individual fit into the greater picture and are consistent with what you love to do and what you are good at. When these things come together in a work setting you experience meaningful work and that makes for a happier and more motivated employee or leader.
To us all human development starts with developing and nuancing your word system, making yourself capable of communicating meaning, development and direction to the people around you. No one develops by themselves – relationships and people are central elements of your own development.
Words have greater value when they are followed by action. Action is concrete initiatives which can be taken now. Action support and are consistent with your thoughts and the word system you have found to articulate our own meaning, development and direction.
It is crucial to evaluate and reflect on the empowerment that has been created by “walking the talk”. The evaluation identifies which development areas should receive attention going forward.
