Our collaboration with Egmont arose from an Egmont-leader’s ambition to strengthen and develop the managers’ division, in order to secure its strong position and success in the large Egmont-corporation.
A precondition for the fulfilling of the leader’s ambitions was an in-depth understanding of herself as a leader as well as of her employees.Through many years of collaboration, a baseline understanding had been acquired. However, busy schedules and tight deadlines had compromised the concern of colleagues preferences to some extent.
INDIVIDUALS was able to provide room and time for a returning to a more healthy and benefiting work environment.
INDIVIDUALS’ task was to create awareness among employees about the leader’s areas of focus. Both in relation to the individual employee and for the division as a unity.
Initially, INDIVIDUALS met with the leader to decide on the overall purpose of the process. The starting point should be the increasing of awareness about drivers of motivation in day-to-day work, and the emphasis on mutual respect among colleagues.
The leader perceives this as essential preconditions for matching ambitions to strengthen and develop the divisions’ position and obtain success in the future.
The collaboration entailed:
- Discussions with the leader – 2 x 1 hour
- Individual conversations with seven employees and leader – 2 x 1.5 hours per person
Including delivery of E-stimate E-Interpersonal behavioral profile
- Joint meeting for everyone in the division – 2 hours
From first interaction to final delivery, the collaboration ran over a period of approximately three months.
